Going to the UCB theatre is always such a treat. This cast was so good! Michael Cerra, Ellie Kemper, Jennifer Carpenter, Matt Walsh, David Cross! They were so funny! And in the second show, Ben FUCKING Schwartz was so funny. He was like seriously a few inches away from me. He and Jennifer Carpenter are so nice to their fans! He called me bro so that officially makes us bros. And Kelli, Steph, and Sara were freaking out the entire time. All in all, it was such a good night.
And we all went to Dinner. I paid. Gentlemen points!
Side Story: Before we started on our Journey to LA, there was this Vietnamese man, who was lost and he has Alzheimer. Good thing I was the only Vietnamese person of the group and he had a bracelet that had his address and phone number. So I just pretty much punched his address into my phone and we just began walking while everyone else went to go get gas. He kept saying he doesn’t need my help anymore but I had to make sure he got home fine, or else I would worry. We reach his family’s house, and he said they were all at work, so he just kept walking. And in the end he still wouldn’t go home, but assured us that he knew the way home now and that he’s fine and it sucks cause we had to get going. We part ways, but through out the night I kept thinking about him and worried if he got home safely or not. I hope so.
