I have cried twice in my life.
Once when the Dillon Panthers won State. And again when I found out Mike Schur tweeted about us.
The last 24 hours have been a roller coaster of emotions. Think playoff season crazy.
First, we find out that BuzzFeed gave us a few praises over on their nifty site for what’s hot in social media, calling this “the most important Tumblr of our time.”That was enough to make us float into waffle-plus-Alamo-Freeze-ice-cream-plus-Snakejuice-filled dreams of utter bliss.
Then we wake up to find that The AV Club, one of our favorite sources for all things awesomesauce, also stumbled upon this Tumblr and deemed it an honorable mention.
But of course we literally died and went to Lil’ Sebastian heaven when we saw that Mike Schur (god of Pawnee, brilliant comedic mind) tweeted about us claiming, “Oh look - the best thing that could ever happen!”
We also got nods from the folks at The Daily What and Upprox, and not to mention the sudden influx of likes, reblogs, and praises from all of you.
Seriously. We’re humbled. Apparently we’ve made a good impression and, as our hero Leslie Knope says, you only have one chance at a second impression. But we’re determined to keep you all entertained.
